Baixin Pipe
● Fuel System
Fuel Hose: Connects components such as the fuel tank, fuel pump, and charcoal canister, responsible for transporting fuel and venting fuel vapors.
Materials: The inner rubber layer has been upgraded from traditional nitrile rubber (NBR) to fluororubber (FKM) and fluororesin (THV) composite layers; the outer rubber layer uses ethylene acrylate rubber (AEM), chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM), etc.
Performance Requirements: Low permeability (to prevent fuel leakage), oil resistance, and ozone aging resistance.
Testing Items: Resistance to liquids (oxygenated fuel, oxidized fuel), burst pressure, fuel permeation tests, etc.
● Brake System
Brake Hose: Transmits braking force to brake shoes/calipers, ensuring brake continuity.
Materials: The inner rubber layer has shifted from styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) to ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM); reinforcement layers use aramid fibers, etc.
Performance Requirements: Resistance to brake fluids (such as DOT3/DOT4), high-temperature pulse resistance (above 150°C), and moisture permeability resistance.
Testing Items: Hydraulic tests, volume expansion tests, high-temperature pulse tests.
● Cooling System
Radiator Hose: Transports coolant to regulate engine temperature (operating temperature reaches 125-175°C).
Materials: Traditional sulfur-vulcanized EPDM is gradually replaced by peroxide vulcanization systems; reinforcement layers use polyester fibers.
Technical Challenges: High-temperature aging resistance, electrochemical corrosion resistance (coolant immersion causing pinhole leaks in the outer layer).
New Materials: POR elastomer compounded with modified nano cerium oxide and heat stabilizers, increasing temperature resistance to 180°C.
● Air Conditioning System
Air Conditioning Hose: Transports refrigerants (such as R134a), requiring low permeability to prevent refrigerant leakage.
Materials: Inner rubber layer uses a resin and EPDM composite structure; outer rubber layer is ozone-resistant EPDM or chlorinated butyl rubber (CIIR).
Testing Items: Refrigerant permeation tests, low-temperature flexibility, R134a extraction tests.
● Power and Steering System
Power Steering Hose: Transmits high-pressure mineral oil, requiring high-temperature resistance (above 140°C) and oil resistance.
Materials: Inner rubber layer has shifted from NBR to hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR); reinforcement layer uses nylon 66; outer rubber layer is chlorosulfonated polyethylene.
Turbocharger Hose: High-temperature resistance (200°C) and oil resistance; inner rubber layer uses a fluororubber + silicone rubber composite structure.
